She taught for Cadek Conservatory of Music for fourteen years, leaving in July 2013 to start her own program. Kindermusik with Anne Hendrix has been named a Kindermusik Top Program for 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, placing it in the top 5% of Kindermusik programs worldwide.
Anne is active as a professional musician in the Chattanooga area. She has played violin in the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera since 1984, and she plays in her church orchestra and for weddings. She also enjoys playing traditional Irish fiddle.
On the personal side, Anne and her husband Tim have four children and four grandchildren. She enjoys swimming with the Chattanooga Y Masters Swim Team, reading, cooking, card making, and jigsaw puzzles.
Jordan Otis is a music teacher and professional singer in Chattanooga, TN. Jordan holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Southern Adventist University.
Jordan has taught choir, string orchestra, and general music in both elementary and secondary settings. She is excited to add Kindermusik to that list and loves seeing young children interact with the beautiful art form of music. During her time living in California, Jordan pioneered the ensemble music program at The Grove School in Redlands, which continues to thrive today. Jordan's voice studio has also been open for over ten years and she continues to teach private lessons.
Outside of teaching music, Jordan is a professional mezzo-soprano and has performed in various pops concerts, classical recitals, musicals, and operas. Some of her favorite theatrical performances include Catherine in The Last Five Years, Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, and Hansel in the opera Hansel und Gretel.
Music aside, Jordan has a zeal for fitness (fun fact - she is Zumba certified!), loves to read, and enjoys spending the majority of her time with her family: two Kindermusik-aged children and her husband, Bryan.
